The cloud is disrupting the way we deliver IT and security in every way and with incredible growth. SiliconANGLE reported that by 2015, end-user spending on cloud services could be more than $180B. Certainly we’re seeing it in our customer base, with nearly 400 cloud apps discovered in each enterprise on average. Never before have we seen such a dramatic shift from centralized to decentralized control, and with such velocity. Rather than suss it out and shut it down, though, Netskope is doing our part in this whole-industry transition to build trust in the cloud so our customers can participate in the tremendous productivity and economic advantages that the cloud brings.

In the paper, Rich says “It isn’t enough to simply be secure – you also need to build trust and enable your customers’ security strategies.” We fully embrace this philosophy here at Netskope, from delivering enterprise-readiness scores and putting the power in our customers’ hands to tailor them and build active policies on them, to giving customers the granular visibility and policy control they need across any app. It’s good to see this group of vendors banding together to solve this big challenge.
